Product Engineering Co-op Student:        

 

  • Assist engineers in all engineering tasks including design, testing and product development activities
  • Aid in coordination of new programs
  • Assist in build up and management of prototypes samples for internal testing and customer deliverables
  • Assist in documentation, file maintenance and reporting requirements including engineering change management requests
  • Coordination of new part development, inspection and test. Issue build requests, test report documentation, tear down and part analysis
  • Expedite handling of special material
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Skills required:

 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Good communication skills in both speaking and writing
  • Strong PC skills including powerpoint and excel software
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Hands – on, energetic individual
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to read drawings and CAD is helpful
