Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Applications/Core Engineering team through flexible and active engagement in a variety of hands-on assignments
- Travel to local ZF and customer sites assisting with parts logistics
- Participate in team discussions, offering a unique viewpoint based on your knowledge and experience
- Take an active role in multiple and diverse projects becoming familiar with engineering tools and procedures
- Review and comprehend different types of specifications developed within ZF engineering, our suppliers, and OEM customers
- Prepare engaging presentations, summaries and product briefs to share with the cross-functional team and Engineering Management
- Lead focused projects seeking to find solutions that are novel while adhering to the best practices of engineering excellence
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing Engineering degree with GPA minumum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Experience taking an active role in group activities
- Understand engineering fundamentals and methods
- Hands-on approach
- Comfortable with hand/power tools
- Self-motivated and engaged in every activity
- Valid Driver’s License
