ZF Lifetec is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Summer Intern to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of corporate finance, including financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and data analysis, while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with annual operating plan development and submission.
- Participate in month end closing activities for preparing and reviewing entries.
- Support monthly forecast process including identifying opportunities and risks.
- Review steps to improve research & development recovery & capitalization forecast.
- Support accounts receivable past due collections to improve cash flow performance.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or a related field maintaining a minimum of 3.0 GPA out of a 4.0 scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present findings.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis concepts.
