We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Engineering Team in Ponte de Lima, Portugal 

 

 

Your Tasks

 

  • Responsible for executing the design (2D, 3D) in accordance with guidelines, requirements (clients, legal);
  • Identify critical design points; 
  • Ensure a safe design in function ability, durability, appearance, feasible for manufacturing;
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, costs accordance to project needs. Application Engineer support in general engineering tasks;
  • Participate in FMEA, Design Reviews.

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Successfully finished Mechanical/Material/Polymer Engineering Engineering degree, Upper Grade Education Cycle or similar;
  • Experience in product development, problem solving analysis as well as in manufacturing and assembly processes;
  • Understanding of technical drawings and technical documents;
  • Experience in GD&T and Stack-up analysis;
  • Experience in CAD tools: CATIA V5;
  • Experience with PLM applications (windchill, team center, etc.;
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
