Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division, this position will be located at El Salvador which is a new plant for the Division.

 

Responsibilities

  • New Program Launch Studies
  • Identify, select and purchase new equipment, machinery and tooling needed for new program implementation
  • Review BoM and submit this review to change control to be configured in SAP
  • Initial PFMEA issuance
  • Develop documentation for new launches, work instructions, controlled drawings, model change sheet, parameter sheet, & production specification.
  • Provide maintenance with physical and electronic manuals, 3D drawings and critical spare parts of implemented machinery, equipment and tooling.
  • Work with Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing during ramp up to approve Run@Rate
  • Ensure compliance with program dates and shipping
  • Keep program timing up to date
  • Maintain communication with change control on program status
  • Raise a deviation to the new program implementation plan in a timely manner, as well as maintain evidence of program monitoring

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Academic degree in technical field or equivalent
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of relevant products & manufacturing processes
  • Advanced skill set to analyze and solve problems, to present topics, run projects and build teams
  • SAP / R3 Management
  • AutoCad / Solid Works
  • Lean Manufacturing Concepts
