Head of Plant SCM/Logistics

Your Tasks：

• Directs and supervises the day-to-day as well as the short and long range goals of purchasing, production planning / control, inventory control, warehousing and traffic.
• Develop site logistic model, optimize logistic process to provide a flexible, fast & reliable logistic service to related functions，mainly responsible for import and export business, organize and lead annual audit work.
• Analyzes and provides relevant input to forecasts, schedules, manpower needs etc. Monitors same for results and ongoing changes.
• Reviews reports on delivery performance and results and initiates corrective actions relating to delayed schedules and material shortages.
• Assists in vendor selection, taking into consideration price, quality, locations and availability of engineering support.
• Receive customer order and define well the production planning to avoid customer shutdown, production waste and minimize the inventory including WIP and FG;
• Lead the whole plant production schedule to coordinate all departments to find the best window, manage the production model to maximize the output and reduce the resource.
• Package development with AP logistic to meet customer demand and production needs.
• Directs and supervises the import / export of raw material and finished goods including dangerous goods.
• Assists Engineering in production line moves and new start ups.
• Control and minimize obsolete inventory according to company and management guidelines.
• Administers direct supervisory responsibility for materials personnel including selection, hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotional recommendations, and developing work schedules. Act on employee problems in cooperation with HR & operations department.
• Responsible for maintain site bonded models and processes, compliance to China government & ZF Xi’an plant policies, adapt and introduce state of the art methods of operation for logistics area， involving all continuous improvement projects.
• Completes other projects as assigned by supervisor.

Your Profile：

• Management experience in logistic area and familiar with plant operation, MNC preferred;
• Good communication and coaching skills, can lead team to match company needs.
• Good command of English both in oral and writing.
• Good Knowledge of international trading policy, ERP (QAD preferred) or MRP.
• Quality Management System
• Proficient in IATF16949 quality system, and familiar with process audit and product audit.
• Familiar to quality control process of automotive
• Proficient of D/PFMEA and control plan structure
• Master problem solving tool. E.g. Six Sigma, Red X etc. Capability on data collection and data analysis with tools(e.g. minitab) (Only for quality related position)
• EHS requirement：
• Proficient competencies and responsibilities required the role in ISO14001、ISO45001.
• Demonstrate Safety Leadership sufficiently. Skills and capability in EHS hazards identification and evaluation.
• Proficient to use BBS，Safety Toolbox Talk, and Safety Race on L2L, etc.
• Trained and familiar with machine safeguarding, LOTO, Ergonomics, Chemicals Safety, Pyrotechnical Material and Devices Safe Handling, etc.
