Senior Manager Head of Supply Chain America region

• Develop and execute supply chain and logistics strategies to achieve key performance targets, with a focus on delivery performance, inventory management, and freight optimization.
• Implement and effectively utilize ZF LIFETEC standard tools, systems, and processes.
• Enhance data transparency, drive standardization and digitalization within supply chain processes.
• Champion logistics excellence across plant operations, leveraging benchmarking and sharing best practices to optimize efficiency.
• Enhance logistics footprint, optimize services, equipment, packaging, optimize material flow and drive automation initiatives.
• Follow ZF LIFETEC’s supply chain and logistics directives, ensuring compliance and adherence to established policies.
• Provide guidance and support to Plant Supply Chain and Logistics Managers, ensuring smooth execution of logistics strategies.
• Proactively escalate supply chain issues and contribute to effective crisis management solutions to mitigate disruptions.
• Lead and coordinate regional logistics projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement and operational advancements.
• Develop and implement inventory improvement initiatives, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficiency in overall supply chain costs.
• KPIs : Inventory & ITR, Freight cost, Premium freight, Delivery performance inbound and outbound, Customs duty paid.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
• Requires 7+years leadership experience in Automotive Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations.
• Ability to juggle competing demands and adapt to different situations.
• Must be able to perform under stressful conditions and meet immediate or short-lead time deadlines.
• Strong analytical ability, thinks strategically and considers the long-term view.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional global organization, managing multiple projects and completing priorities.
• Familiar with SAP system.
• Advanced user of MS Office and efficiency-enhancing tools.
• Winning mentality and persuasion skills as well as a high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Energetic, responsive team player who is eager to take initiative.
• Proactive, organized, and accuracy with attention to detail.
• Professional communications skills both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English required.
• Ability to travel as business needs require.
