Senior Compliance & Ethics Specialist (Investigations)

Position Summary

The Senior Compliance & Ethics Specialist (Investigations) will be part of the ZF LIFETEC Corporate Compliance Department, reporting to the Head of Compliance. The role is responsible for conducting and managing compliance whistleblowing reports and investigations, providing compliance guidance to the business, and driving preventative compliance initiatives. While supporting the global Compliance function and global compliance initiatives, the position will have a strong focus on ZF LIFETEC's operations in North America, particularly Mexico and play a key role in fostering a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.

Your Tasks

• Lead and support compliance investigations involving fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, misconduct, regulatory violations, and other compliance matters.
• Manage cases from intake through closure, including fact-finding, data analysis, document reviews, interviews, reporting, and remediation design and tracking.
• Coordinate investigations with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and external advisors as required.
• Prepare investigation reports and present findings, conclusions, and recommendations to management.
• Support and maintain compliance case management, monitoring, and reporting processes.
• Provide practical compliance advice and guidance to business stakeholders.
• Support compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities, and other compliance initiatives.
• Develop and deliver compliance trainings, awareness campaigns, and communication activities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and preventative compliance programs.
• Identify trends and lessons learned from investigations and translate them into sustainable risk mitigation measures.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, or a related field; advanced degree are considered an asset.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Compliance, Investigations, Forensics, Internal Audit, Legal, or a related function.
• Demonstrated experience conducting internal investigations in an international environment.
• Strong interviewing, analytical, report-writing, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with compliance case management processes and investigation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken) are required.
• Willingness and ability to travel to US and other locations as required.
