As a Trainee in Quality Engineering (CoP), you will support the team in ensuring compliance and quality of safety-relevant automotive components – such as seatbelt systems, airbags, and steering wheels – throughout the production process.
Conformity of Production (CoP) means making sure that all products built in series consistently meet the same requirements and quality standards as originally approved. You will gain insight into international standards and contribute to improving processes across global locations while working closely with different teams.
As addition activities related to the local Quality Management System (QMS) – internal and external audits, local processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the standardization of CoP processes to ensure consistent quality
- Assist in aligning CoP activities with relevant standards (e.g., FMVSS, ECE R16, IATF 16949, ISO 9001)
- Participate in audits, inspections, and testing activities
- Help implement and improve quality management processes
- Analyze quality data and support corrective and preventive actions
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Support investigations and basic root cause analyses
- Maintain documentation and support certification activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in preparation for external audits and regulatory reviews
- Preparation to the internal and external quality audits
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and openness to new challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Basic understanding of quality standards would be an advantage
