Role Overview
As a MES/SCADA Support Analyst Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth rollout, implementation, and daily support of Production and Quality applications and infrastructure across global manufacturing sites. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, enabling Industry 4.0 strategies, and supporting IT-enabled innovation in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Rollouts & Implementations: Lead deployments of Production and Quality applications and infrastructure.
Operational Support: Ensure successful daily support of Production IT services worldwide.
Partnerships: Collaborate with business leaders, vendors, and IT teams to provision and run operational services.
Systems Coverage: Manage platforms including Shopfloor Monitoring, Process Execution Control, MES, Production Logistics, Traceability, Mistake-Proofing, and Virtual Process Engineering.
Industry 4.0 Enablement: Actively contribute to digital transformation strategies in manufacturing.
Process Efficiency: Establish efficient processes to deliver IT Production services, including ERP interconnections.
Innovation & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and IT-enabled innovation in production systems.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT standards, especially software license management.
Projects & Enhancements: Support projects and small-order improvements aligned with business requirements.
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience.
Core Skills: Operational excellence, critical thinking, communication, and research skills.
Business Understanding: Strong knowledge of IT operations in factory environments.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Windows servers, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
Scripting: Hands-on experience with Python or other scripting languages.
Domain Knowledge: Minimum 3 years of solid knowledge in SCADA, MES, and IT Manufacturing.
Availability: Willingness to support on-call rotation.
