Manufacturing engineer (2 year fixed term contract)

Your Tasks

• Provides engineering technical support and coordinate the activities for the installation, debug and setup of equipment and tooling into an integrated manufacturing system;
• Assists in developing and ensuring a formal technical documentation package is available, current, and easily retrievable for all capital equipment, tooling, gauges, etc. required to support manufacturing;
• Creates and monitor the transfer plan for all products that are to be completed;
• Provides engineering assistance to deliver and launch an integrated manufacturing system;
• Assists manufacturing operations in identifying, justifying, and implementing continuous improvements in manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance product quality, process yields, and throughput;
• Develops equipment/station layouts considering direct labor manning/costs, efficient material flow and handling, product quality and safety.

Your Profile

• University Degree (Mechanical engineering, Machine building, Technical sciences);
• 2 years of experience;
• Proficiency in English;
• General knowledge of sizing and tolerances and ability to read execution drawings;
• Basic knowledge of production processes;
• Basic knowledge of APQP documentation and tools;
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
