Lean-Continuous Improvement Savings Coordinator

Key Purpose
Coordinate and monitor the plant Continuous Improvement savings portfolio, ensuring the successful implementation of cost reduction, productivity, quality, scrap reduction, efficiency improvement, and waste elimination initiatives while delivering committed annual savings targets

Your Tasks

• Continuous Improvement Project Coordination
  • Coordinate all approved Continuous Improvement savings projects across functional departments.
  • Develop and maintain a master pipeline of CI savings opportunities and projects.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions and establish implementation timelines.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and roadblocks.
  • Escalate issues impacting project delivery and savings realization.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Savings Management and Validation
  • Maintain the plant's annual CI savings plan and forecast.
  • Track actual versus committed savings performance.
  • Partner with Finance to validate and confirm project savings.
  • Ensure savings calculations are documented, traceable, and auditable.
  • Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual savings reports.
  • Monitor sustainability of realized savings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the liaison between Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Coordinate project reviews with functional leaders and project champions.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across departments.
  • Support management decision-making through accurate project and savings reporting.

• Lean and Continuous Improvement Support
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives led by the LPO.
  • Participate in Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping activities, and waste reduction projects.
  •  Assist in identifying improvement opportunities through data analysis and process observation.
  • Promote Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization.
  • Support best practice replication across departments.
• Governance and Reporting
  • Maintain project dashboards and savings tracking tools.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for plant leadership reviews.
  • Monitor project status and KPI performance.
  • Ensure compliance with plant Continuous Improvement standards and methodologies.
  • Generate monthly executive summaries of savings performance and project status.

  • Support achievement of plant objectives in:

Your Pofile

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement, project management, industrial engineering, or related functions.
• Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing environments.
• Experience tracking financial savings and performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies preferred.
