Job Description – Software Test Engineer (Automotive Domain)
Key Responsibilities
- Test Case Development – Design and develop test cases in line with test specifications and methods to ensure comprehensive validation.
- Verification & Validation – Execute White Box and Black Box testing to validate system functionality and compliance with requirements.
- Failure Monitoring & DTCs – Implement failure monitoring concepts and manage Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for robust system reliability.
Technical Skills
- Tool Expertise – Hands-on experience with VectorCAST, Beyond Compare, and PTC Integrity for automated testing, regression validation, and requirement management.
- Programming Knowledge – Strong proficiency in C, C++, VBA scripting, and Python for test automation and workflow optimization.
- Code Coverage Techniques – Skilled in statement, branch, MC/DC coverage, function call, and call coverage methods.
- Automotive Protocols – Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols including LIN, CAN, CAN FD, CANTP, and UDS.
- Automotive Domain Knowledge – Exposure to automotive systems, standards, and testing practices.
