Your Task:
- Overall responsibility for tax planning, reporting and compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations in the region, notably tax filing by statutory filing deadlines.
- Manage local tax audits and establish relationship with provincial tax authorities (China)
- Responsible for the preparation of the tax reporting packages for APAC entities; support in negotiations with JV Partners and suppliers/customers related to tax issues
- Support in international tax planning, cash optimization and other ad-hoc tax projects such as mergers and acquisitions.
- Business partnering and establishing effective lines of communication with relevant peers and contacts in other functions and regions.
Your Profile:
- 10+ year experience in Tax management / advisory, very strong technical skills
- Business understanding and strong business orientation (cross-functional focus, customer centricity, solution-oriented)
- Strong communication and advanced process-management skill
- Motivator & team leading skills
- Excellent command of English language
