We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Global Team as Global Process Expert Soldering. It is a position closely related to the production and efficient commissioning of lines.
We are looking for an experienced colleague to take responsibility for the management and development of global Process Expert Soldering activities, including process standardization, sharing know-how across plants, and ensuring technical excellence in soldering technology.
You will be based in Stará Boleslav, Czech Republic, but you will often travel to Alfdorf, where we have our headquarters. You will also have the opportunity to be inspired by other races around the world.
Responsibilities for job
- Process Development; define and develop preferred manufacturing processes and key suppliers (Front-Loading);
- Define Process Standards and lead worldwide implementation and monitoring;
- P-FMEA and Control Plan Standardisation;
- Approve Manuf. Process Changes worldwide (global process expert);
- Support CQA process, Problem Solving, Launch Process, Lessons Learned;
- Involvement in supplier processes and dual sourcing which can impact assembly processes at the lines
- Create Manufacturing guidelines and Manufaturing specifications
- Drive automation by leading workshops and creating concepts and specifications
- Leading „Design for assembly & automation“ workshops
- Project Management for production concepts for upcoming lines (subassemblies, assembly)
- Approve manufacturing process changes worldwide (global process expert)
Personal qualifications
- English language fluency;
- Knowledge in soldering required; knowledge about the common standards in automotive in regards of soldering
- Deep experience in product launch process
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Project Management/ planning/ organizing skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
