General Ledger Accountant - Senior Accountant in SSC

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for preparation of balance sheet accounts reconciliation process
• You will be performing the month end, quarter end and the year-end close process
• You will be responding to queries from stakeholders via e-mail/telephone in alignment with service management processes
• You will be preparing and checking VAT filings
• You will have opportunity to participate in projects: process transitions, automatization and digitalization (eg. RPA, SAP 4 Hana implementation)

Requirements:

• proven experience in general ledger accounting, including month end close activities, reconciliations and audit support
• university degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics field (or equivalent Accounting course)
• advanced German and English, any other foreign language will be a plus
• good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
• ERP system experience is required; preferably SAP
• analytical mindset: capability to analyze data to catch inconsistencies and strong communication and interpersonal skills
• high attention to details and a proactive approach to ensure compliance and accuracy
