Intern / Co-op (Manufacturing Engineering)
Full-time: A student who works more than 30 hours a week
Part-time: A student who works no less than 19.9 hours a week, but between 20 and 29.9 hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams through flexible and active engagement in a variety of hands-on activities
- Complete engineering assignments associated with process changes and improvements.
- Participate in team discussions, offering a unique viewpoint based on knowledge and experience
- Take an active role in projects becoming familiar with engineering tools and ZF LIFETEC procedures and processes
- May prepare simple technical documentation or reports to assist with ongoing engineering projects
- Prepare engaging presentations, summaries and/or process briefs to share with the cross-functional team and Engineering and Operations Management
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Experience taking an active role in group activities
- Understand engineering fundamentals and methods
- Hands-on approach
- Self-motivated and engaged in every activity
Education:
Currently pursuing Engineering degree with GPA minumum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
ZF LIFETEC Mesa Operations screening process includes a substance abuse screening test, ATF lifetime background check, and verification of eligibility for employment. U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status Required.
