Tasks:
- Preparation of (pre-)consolidation procedures the ensure matching consolidation data in the system
- Consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS
- Conducting consolidation procedures and checking consolidations results
- Ensuring that all internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements including notes according to IFRS requirements
- Reviewing of financial data of reporting units to strengthen accounting quality
- Assistance in the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis and reports.
- Assistance in the implementation of specific projects related to financial reporting.
- Support the development and training of employees in the team and in the accounting community.
- Development and implementation of new concepts as well as further development of existing instruments in the event of legal and/or internal change requirements for the consolidated financial statements
- Preparation of presentations to the management and the supervisory board
- Participation in the integration of new reporting units into the consolidation software as well as support in maintaining the master data of reporting units and consolidation hierarchies in collaboration with employees responsible for system governance and maintenance
- Preparation of the consolidation system (additional data, reporting structure, fx rates) in collaboration with employees responsible for system governance and maintenance
- Support of domestic and foreign subsidiaries in accounting, initial consolidation and preparation of financial statements
Requirements:
- Well-founded consolidation practice including IFRS
- Very profound knowledge of SAP- consolidation software, especially SAP S/4 HANA for Group Reporting, Skills on SAP SEM-BCS are an advantage
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
- High level of communication skills and social skills, independence, initiative, assertiveness and conceptual skills
- Understanding of reporting requirements for publicly listed entities or private equity environment
- Understanding of controlling-perspective on financials is an advantage
- Experience in a carve out business is an advantage
